OPI Matte Top Coat

I love matt stuff and when it comes to beauty I have a special crush on matte lips or nails. So I was super happy when OPI sent me their new matte top coat, especially since I couldn't find the Artdeco one I used to have;) For spring/summer I find matte nails in pastel tones stylish, so I had to try that right away. With the OPI one it goes very quick, you can almost watch the nail becoming matte. I find that the result depends a little on the nail polish its applied to. On various colours it can look a little stripy, but apart from that it's a great product. 

Do you know it or do you know other good mat topcoats?

Ich liebe matte Sachen und bei Beauty finde ich matte Lippen und Nägel ganz besonders toll. Ich habe mich also riesig gefreut, als OPI mit ihren neuen Matte Top Coat zugeschickt hat. Ich hatte mal einen von Artdeco, denn ich aber leider nicht mehr finde. Der Lack kam also wie gerufen. Für den Frühling/Sommer gefallen mir ganz besonders pastellfarbige Nägel in matt, weshalb ich das natürlich auch gleich austesten musste. Mit dem Top Coat von Opi geht das "matt machen" total schnell. Man kann förmlich zusehen, wie der Lack matt wird. Das Ergebnis hängt jeweils etwas vom Unterlack ab und kann in manchen Fällen etwas streifig sein. Trotzdem gefällt mir das Produkt super und ich werde es mit Freuden noch an vielen Farben testen.

Quick Tip: Catrice Glamazona LE Blushes

This week's quick tip is devoted to the lovely blushes Catrice launched in their Glamazona Limited Edition. I'm totally in love with the bright and special colours, which are highly pigmented and easy to blend out. Just make sure you don't use too much product;)

The limited edition is still available until July, so if you're lucky to still discover one of the blushes, don't hesitate to have a look at it:)

Swarovski Fall/Winter 2013 + Interview with Nathalie Colin

In my Swarovski post from Baselworld, I already showed you some impressions from the upcoming Swarovski collection. Today I want to show you a few more and let you know what Nathalie Colin told me about the new pieces:)

To me it's one of the most beautiful collection so far! I love so many of the pieces and I'm a huge fan of the Shourouk collaboration pieces! Please let me know how you like the pieces and which ones are your favourites:)

In meinem Swarovski Post von der Baselworld hatte ich euch ja bereits einige Eindrücke der Herbst/Winter Kollektion 2013. Heute möchte ich euch noch mehr zeigen und zudem mit euch teilen, was mir Nathalie Colin, Kreativ Direktorin von Swarovski, zu den neuen Stücken erzählt hat. (Da ich das Interview auf Englisch geführt habe, werde ich es auch nur auf Englisch verschriftlichen, hoffe das geht in Ordnung).

Ich persönlich finde diese Kollektion einer der Schönsten bisher. Ich habe mich in soo viele der Stücke verliebt und finde die Kollaboration mit Shourouk fantastisch! Wie gefallen euch die Sachen und welche Stücke zählen zu euren Lieblingen?

For the new season, which is inspired by the traditional silk route, Nathalie told me, she really wanted to continue telling the story of travels, which started in spring with the Tropical Paradise collection in Brazil and Mexico. For fall/winter Nathalie wanted to continue the travel in a bit more intimate and more mysterious way. She looked for places that could reflect her ideas and kept an eye on the trends and finally decided to tell a story about the silk route. As a big inspiration she mentioned the traveller and explorer Alexandra David-Néel, which always had been an inspirational character for her. Nathalie would have loved to live a life like her being the first one coming to Tibet. So the story Nathalie wanted to tell in the new collection, starts in China, passes the Himalaya, India and ends up in the more opulent, but still mysterious Venice.

Quick Tip: Marionnaud Nail Laquers

Today I want to give you a little quick tip: Marionnaud recently launched 32 new nail polishes. Just look at the fabulous packing! I'm sooo in love with it!♥ The shades have a great pigmentation and are easy to apply. (The brushes remind me a little of the ones from the Essie nail polishes)
